Waltech manufacture range of ring mills typically for mineral pulverisation for XRF analysis. Feed size smaller than 10 mm can be pulverised typically in period of 3 min down to 75 micron. Units supplied in soundproof cabinet with either mechanical or pneumatic clamp. Bowls clamp in mill and have combination of pugs and rings inside.

The mill ossilates eccentrically at speed of approx. 900 rpm; so that sample is impacted inside bowl by pug and ring leading to impact pulverisation of sample. Range of bowls from 100 ml to 2000 ml available. Application specific bowls can be manufactured from chrome, carbon or tungsten carbide material.
